Obituary for Leonard P. Jagielski

Leonard P. Jagielski, 86, of Waterford, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Born in Chicago, Illinois on January 24, 1933, he was the son of Paul and Pauline (nee Grzeczka) Jagielski. On January 24, 1963 in Las Vegas, Nevada, he was united in marriage to Audrey Brierly. Following marriage, they made Wisconsin their home. Audrey preceded him in death on February 12, 2013.

Leonard served in the United States Army from May 12, 1953 until May 5, 1955. He loved to watch baseball, visit parks and picnic, fish and play bingo.

Leonard is survived by his children, Wayne Doty and Kenneth (Mary) Jagielski; step-children, Jan Evans and Chuck (Millie) Doty; daughter-in-law, Andrea Jagielski; grandchildren, Bryson, Dylan, Jordan, Derek and Austin; and 3 sisters, Joan, Pat and Judy. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Audrey, son Leonard “Bubba” Jagielski, and a brother and sister.

Burial will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Cemetery on Friday, January 24, 2020 PROMPTLY at 10AM.
