Obituary for Harold J. Leach

Harold J. Leach, 95, of Kansasville, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Oak Park Place.

Born in Burlington, Wisconsin on April 1, 1924, he was the son of Joseph and Emma (nee Runkel) Leach. His early life was spent in Burlington where he graduated from Burlington High School. On October 9, 1944 he was united in marriage to Ruth Clark. Following marriage, they made their home in Kansasville. He has been a resident of Kansasville almost 75 years. Ruth preceded him in death on January 4, 1995.

Harold was the owner and operator of his own dairy farm. He was a former member of the United Methodist Church in Burlington and enjoyed woodworking in his free time.

Harold is survived by his children, Sandy Taylor, Paul (Judy) Leach, Peter Leach, Mary Jo (Victor) Palma, William (Theresa) Leach and Harvey (Cheryl) Leach; twelve grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Andrew Leach and siblings, Helen (Clifford) DeBell, Emmett (Avis) Leach and Floyd Leach.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice Alliance along with all the friends and family that showed their support during this time.

Per Harold’s request, no services will be held.
