Joann was a wonderful teacher. I got to know her when I was a substitute teacher at Waterford Grade School and when my son was in her class. She was a truly dedicated teacher. My prayers to the family.

I will miss Joann. We always had lots of laughter together, and did many crazy, things at school. I taught with her for 27 yrs. and she has aways been one of my favorite "friends". She will be missed at our Teacher's monthly Luncheons. Fly your wings "sweetheart"!! Your "Friend" Linda

I will forever remembering Joann's wonderful laugh! I taught with her for a few years at the old Graded School. She was so wise, and stood firm in her beliefs. I know that she would read the Christmas Story to her classes directly from the bible as that was the only way many of her students would know the reason for celebrating Christmas. A woman of faith, now at peace, in the arms of her heavenly Father. My husband and I moved to Arizona last month, otherwise, I would be attending the funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
